Start Line & Registration Location

Race begins at 9 AM and packet pick-up begins at 8 AM. Participants will start the race on on the side street Edison St facing North (Bar X on 200 S). Day-of registration and packet pickup will be located near the starting line area.

Finish Line Location

Edison St and 200 S.

Categories & Awards

We value and recognize that gender goes beyond the binary to encompass many different identities, and we will continue to represent these identities throughout the Festival, including the Pride Day 5K.

Awards will be presented immediately following the race at about 9:45 AM. Utah Pride Festival award packages will go to the overall male, female and gender inclusive finishers. 1st place overall award packages include: 2 Utah Pride Festival VIP Passes which will give you and a friend admission to the Festival and VIP Lounge on Saturday and Sunday, as well as 2 beverages each in the VIP Lounge during the weekend. 2nd & 3rd place overall packages will include 2 Festival Tickets for Saturday and Sunday.

The top male, top female and top gender inclusive in each age-group will also receive awards. Age-groups will be broken down into the following categories for male, female and gender inclusive runners: under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Course Description/Info

This year, the race will be along the Pride Parade Route!

  • Start on the side street Edison St facing North (Bar X on 200 S).
  • Turn left or West until you get to Highway 89.
  • about face heading east for one block
  • right turn on 200 W for one block
  • about face head back to 200 S
  • turn right on 200 S
  • run the parade route until you reach 400 E
  • about face and head West
  • turn left on 200 E
  • turn left on 200 S
  • turn left on 400 E
  • finish the race at Edison St and 200 S

Aid Stations

Water will be provided at the mile 1 & 2 aid stations. Water and other drinks and foods will be available at the finish area.
